What PCL Construction is Hiring for:

As a Electrician Helper for our PICCo GTTP Project in Orange, Texas, you will contribute to our team by:

Assist Journeyman and work closely with other crafts as needed
Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
Safe use of hand and power tools
Works around hazardous wiring.
Measures, cuts, bend, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using rulers, hand tools, power tools.
Splices wires using hand tools, soldering equipment, tape or terminal gaps.
Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
Unwinds and pulls cable.
Connects power cable to equipment using hand tools.
Tests the installed equipment for safety and electrical compatibility.
Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above ground as necessary.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience in the industrial electrical industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with37-47 months as a electrician
strong math knowledge
Insure electrical installation is per current applicable codes
knowledge of the national electrical code
pass pre employment job requirements
